4. Services & Engagement

Our legal services are provided under the terms of a client care letter agreed at the start of each engagement. That letter will set out the scope of our instructions, the fee arrangement, and the basis of our working relationship.

The prices listed on this website are indicative starting points for the services described. They may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the specific matter. A clear fee estimate will always be provided before any engagement proceeds.

We reserve the right to decline to accept instructions at our discretion, including where a conflict of interest exists or where we are unable to act competently for any reason.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees are payable in accordance with the terms set out in your client care letter. Unless otherwise agreed:

• Consultation fees are payable at the time of the appointment
• Invoices for ongoing matters are issued periodically and are due within fourteen days of issue
• We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods notified to you at engagement

Where a matter is not pursued following a consultation, the consultation fee remains payable. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Confidentiality

All information disclosed to us in connection with a matter is treated as confidential. We are bound by professional obligations of confidentiality as practitioners in Malaysia, and these obligations continue after any engagement ends.

Please be aware that initial enquiries submitted through this website, prior to any engagement, are also received in confidence. We will not disclose the fact of your contact without your consent, except where required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All text, design, and content on this website is the property of Adil Chambers or its licensors and is protected by Malaysian and international copyright law.

You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or otherwise use this content without our prior written consent.
